Malta International Airport is a relatively spotter-friendly airport, with a number of good locations from which to photograph aircraft.
The airport has two runways - 32 / 14 and 06/24. 32/14 is the runway of choice for most commercial flights, as it is longer, wider, and ILS is available. 06/24 is more popular for general aviation, as it is closer to the general aviation park.
Besides the normal spotting, the Medavia maintenance facility often sees a number of interesting aircraft, which may be photographed crossing the road to access the facility.
