A few metres up the road from the Spotters' Platform, there is a gate from where aircraft taxi from the airport, across the road, into the Medavia facility.
This is an exceptional opportunity for photographers to get up close and personal with aircraft. Medavia handles anything from a Cessna 152 to 707s and 727s, so with some luck, you might get a nice shot.

However, please exercise caution as you will be really close to planes, so beware of props and jetblast. Do not leave any camera cases anywhere in the way! And please resist the temptation to run in the middle of the taxiway for a head-on shot of an approaching aircraft if it is moving!
