The VIP / Taxiway Charlie / Delta  location is excellent in the early morning (till around 11:00). If Runway 32 is in use, expect departing aircraft to taxi past you to Taxiway Charlie. If Runway 14 is in use, they will probably exit the runway via Taxiway Delta, om which case you have a very good photographic opportunity as well. There are slots in the fence purpose-made for spotters, so please use these. If you want to take photos of aircraft taking off, then you're better off with a ladder!

The VIP parking bay is also very well positioned, but security tend to be quite nervous about photographers whilst VIPs are embarking or disembarking, so keep a safe distance at that point.

This location is also good for ramp nightshots for aircraft parked on a number of parking bays in Park 9, as long as you're confident with your camera's exposure settings, as the light pylons might get in the way!

Lens range 18-200mm works fine here!
