Unfortunately, the treshold of Runway 13 is quite inside the fence, so aircraft photographed from this location would inevitably be much higher than those photographed on the treshold of 31. However, stepping further back from the runway should give you perfectly acceptable shots.
Getting there is a bit of a nightmare without own transport, but a number of die-hards do it.
If you stay on the road, beware of the numerous lorries which drive down the narrow road - besides being a danger to yourself, they might suddenly block the view of the landing aircraft at the last minute, so it's best to stay on the roadside opposite the fence.
